For public policy, healthcare, liberal arts or communications students
Assist in a study of attitudes of Latino-Americans towards complementary and alternative healthcare treatments. Learn to design a research program , use secondary research and in-depth-interviews to assess the role of culture and faith in making healthcare decisions, and analyze data to distill recommendations for how healthcare and wellness providers can better serve the Hispanic community.
For students currently enrolled, studying Public Policy, Healthcare, Mass Communications, liberal arts. or related majors.
Requirements: Completely fluent in English and Spanish with knowledge of colloquial Spanish of Mexican immigrants, excellent English language writing skills. Weekly progress meetings, in person and via Skype. This is an 8 week internship beginning February 1st and offers a stipend.
